"Students were seated with eyes 'glued' to the African tent and camp setting. Dressed in costume, Ms. Rooney began to unfold a drama and engage students and teachers as actors. Students were mesmerized! Ms. Rooney’s personal experience in Kenya is evident. Her enthusiasm and knowledge of the problems facing both the animals and the people held adults’ and students’ interest alike."

“African Tails” captivated, educated and entertained our K-5 students. The multimedia approach held our student’s attention, and especially impressive was the integration of slides and music!"
-SHORE COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL - Beverly, MA
"Our lower school students were delighted to be able to participate in your program by enacting life in the Maasai village. Seeing their classmates on stage, wearing Maasai clothing combined with music, sound effects and slides of the animals, held the attention of even our youngest children."
-GEORGETOWN DAY SCHOOL - Washington, DC
"Your technique of having the children participate in the program certainly made the African village come alive. The slides were beautiful, and combined with sound effects, made us all feel as if we had spent the afternoon with the Maasai. Your innovative program gave our students a new understanding of Africa."
